By accessing or registering an account on SoftHostier ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our domain registration, cloud hosting, or related web services.
2. Domain Registration and Transfers
- Domain registrations and transfers are provisioned through ICANN-accredited upstream registrars (including ResellerClub) and relevant registry operators (.IN Registry/NIXI, Verisign, PIR, etc.).
- You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete WHOIS registrant contact information. Providing false contact details may lead to immediate domain cancellation.
- Domain registrations and renewals are executed in non-reversible annual increments once transmitted to the registry operator.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to use SoftHostier hosting servers or infrastructure for any prohibited activities, including:
- Hosting, distributing, or transmitting malicious code, phishing pages, ransomware, or spyware.
- Transmitting unsolicited commercial bulk email (SPAM) or hosting open mail relays.
- Operating cryptocurrency miners, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) tools, or network stress platforms.
- Hosting illegal, copyright-infringing, or defamatory content under applicable Indian and international laws.
Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice or refund.
4. Billing, Renewals, and Refund Policy
- Hosting Refunds: New web hosting plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee from the initial purchase date upon request to our support desk.
- Domain Non-Refundability: Domain registration, transfer, and renewal fees paid to third-party central registries are strictly non-refundable once registered.
- Service Renewals: Invoices for renewals are generated prior to the expiration date. Failure to renew domains before the grace period ends may result in domain redemption penalties or release to public auctions.
5. Service Availability and Backups
While SoftHostier aims to deliver 99.9% server uptime and maintains automated backups on selected plans, you maintain ultimate responsibility for retaining independent backups of all website databases, files, and critical software assets.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
